Late Joseon Inspired Fashion Hanbok Series 1
Don’t see the colors you want? Message me, and I can make it happen. If we’re in agreement, select custom, and order will be completed!
Due to some time spent in another store space, there are some easily washable dust stains on the hems. Therefore, when I got these pieces back, I marked down the price.
Handmade Hanbok sets inspired by the late Joseon dynasty where the Jeogori was shorter (very short), with the chest band exposed just above the Chima/Skirt. In this case, the Chima has an attached, sleeveless white and in some designs, off white jeogori, so that there are no worries of the chest band slipping! Because these chima have a tie closure that opens up in the front, a slip, underskirt, or bike shorts are highly recommended. I don’t have any underskirts available yet, but if you would like me to create one, please message me at Laurenamackey@gmail.com, and we can certainly discuss options!
The quickest way to determine size is to use the Cup Size of your bra as the guideline. If you’re wanting something more specific, read the guidelines below.
To determine size, the most important measurements are across the front shoulder, from left to right (DO NOT MEASURE ALL THE WAY AROUND). Additionally, your bust measurement is also important, and in that case, do measure all the way around. If in doubt, such as you have small shoulders and larger breasts, go for the larger size. With the Chima, because it widens, there is a tie closure, and the front overlaps, a waist/hip measurement isn’t necessary, as it will cover. My experience with ethnic clothing has been to always size up. Especially if the country of origin is Japan, Korea, or China. And even though these are made by me, because they are handmade with precise measurements, if in doubt, size up.
Here is the size Chart:
